NBT BANK PROMOTES MONAHAN
ALBANY, NY (May 24, 2022) –NBT Bank announced the promotion of North Country Regional Executive Marc Monahan to Senior Vice President.
“Marc has made significant contributions to the success of our company through exceptional and consistent performance,” said Ruth Mahoney, who was recently named NBT’s Regional President for the Capital District and North Country, in addition to her role as President of Wealth Management. “I’m looking forward to working with him as he continues to serve as a key leader for NBT in Glens Falls and the surrounding area.”
Monahan is responsible for leading NBT’s Commercial Banking team in the North Country region, which extends from Saratoga Springs to the lake region and north to Plattsburgh. He joined the NBT Bank team in 2010 as a Branch Manager and advanced to the positions of Market Manager, Business Banking Officer, and then to Commercial Relationship Manager and Glens Falls Market Executive. He earned a bachelor’s degree in business administration from SUNY Oswego and completed the company’s Emerging Leaders and Star Impact programs. He is a current board chair of the Adirondack Regional Chamber of Commerce, treasurer of the Adirondack Civic Center Coalition Board, member of the SEDC Board of Governors, active member of the LCLGRPB loan committee and secretary of the Glen Falls Hospital Foundation Board. Monahan also enjoys volunteering his time to help coach local youth sports for Queensbury Little League and Adirondack Youth Hockey Association.
