Routing Number

If you are reordering checks, setting up a direct deposit, automatic payment or preparing a wire transfer, you will likely be asked to provide a routing number. Routing numbers expedite the processing of debits and credits between financial institutions. The NBT Bank routing number is 021303618.

  • Refer to the bottom of your checks. The routing number will be the nine-digit number at the bottom to the left of your account number.
  • If you are trying to set up a direct deposit, automatic payments or are preparing a wire transfer, you should use the routing number for NBT Bank.
  • We consolidated our routing number 201305577 into routing number 021303618, which will be changed when reordering checks. Although your routing number has changed to 021303618, your account number is still the same. IMPORTANT: If you create or update any preauthorized or recurring payments (such as rent, car payments, online direct deposits, etc.) please use the new routing number that is on your checks.
