If you forgot your password but know your Login ID, follow these steps to reset your password:
  • Enter your Login ID.
  • Click Sign In.
  • Answer the challenge question or submit a One-time PIN if prompted.
  • Click Forgot Your Password?.
At this point, you will be able to receive a temporary single-use password at the email address we have on file.

Enrolling in Mobile Banking is quick and easy!
  • Log in to NBT Online Banker.
  • Click Mobile Banking in the blue navigation bar.
  • Read and accept the disclaimer.
  • Select and enter a username.
  • Enter your mobile phone number.
  • Select and enter a mobile password.
  • Confirm your password.
  • Click Enroll.
Signing up for eStatements is quick and easy!
  • Log in to NBT Online Banker.
  • Select the Statements tab in the grey navigation bar.
  • Read and accept the Online Statement Customer Agreement.
  • Select the account(s) you would like to enroll.
  • Click the Enroll button.
Conveniently transfer funds between your NBT Bank account and your account at another U.S. financial institution. To do so:
  • Log in to NBT Online Banker.
  • Click Transfers in the blue navigation bar.
  • Select the Recipients tab to establish a new external account.
  • Verify your external account.
  • After you have completed the verification process, your external account will be conveniently listed on the Account Balances screen of your NBT Online Banker account. You will also have the ability to transfer funds through NBT Bank Mobile Banking.
  • Transfers typically take 1-3 days to complete and are subject to the Funds Availability Policy of NBT Bank and other participating financial institutions.
  • If you wish to add external transfers, you may submit a maintenance request.
To take advantage of our Personal Financial Management Tool follow these simple steps:
  • Log in to NBT Online Banker.
  • Click Personal Finance in the blue navigation bar.
  • Read and accept the disclaimer.
  • Verify or correct your personal contact information.
  • Click Enroll.
In most situations, all of your new accounts will be automatically added to your NBT Online Banker.
In the event an account is not automatically added, or you wish to remove an existing account, you may submit a maintenance request.
To add or remove Bill Pay to an existing NBT Online Banker account, please submit a maintenance request.

NBT Bank provides online account opening for many of our personal checking and savings accounts as well as online loan applications for various personal loans and residential mortgages.

  • Complete the fillable fields on the form or print the form and complete by hand. Then, ensure your signature is notarized if you choose to send by mail.

If you would like to mail it to us, please have the signature notarized. Otherwise, you may visit your local NBT Bank office and sign the form in front of a branch representative.
