BURLINGTON, VT (January 7, 2019) – NBT Bank’s New England Region President Matthew Durkee announced Daniel Werme has been promoted to Senior Vice President and Paula Steele is now Vice President.
Werme has over 20 years of experience in the financial services industry and currently serves as Regional Commercial Banking Manager. Prior to joining NBT Bank in 2017, he was a commercial banking regional manager for Merchants Bank. He also worked as a commercial banking officer and branch president. Werme, a resident of New Haven, is active in his community serving with the Bristol Revolving Loan Fund.
Steele has nearly 15 years of experience in the financial services industry and currently serves as a Cash Management Sales Representative. Prior to joining NBT Bank, Steele worked as a public relations, marketing and event coordinator for Citizens Bank. Steele resides in Colchester.
