Joseph Ondesko

NORWICH, NY (August 10, 2020) – NBT Bank’s Chief Financial Officer John V. Moran announced that Joseph Ondesko has been hired as Senior Vice President and Assistant Treasurer.

“We’re very excited to welcome Joe to NBT. His asset liability management skills perfectly complement NBT’s already-strong treasury team, and his expertise with digital tools will provide significant leverage to the broader finance group as the bank grows over the $10 billion asset mark,” said Moran.

Ondesko has 15 years of financial and accounting experience, most recently serving as Chief Financial Officer/Chief Investment Officer/Head of Information Technology for the Bank of Akron. Prior to that, he held senior treasury positions with both KeyBank and First Niagara.

Ondesko earned an MBA in finance and a bachelor’s degree in marketing from Canisius College.
