NORWICH, NY (November 13, 2019) – NBT Bank President of Retail Community Banking Joseph Stagliano announced Retail and Operations Controller Rich O’Hara was promoted to Senior Vice President. O’Hara is based at NBT Bank’s headquarters in Norwich, NY.
O’Hara has over 20 years of experience in financial accounting and budgeting. In his current role, he is responsible for managing budgeting and reporting functions for NBT’s Retail Banking and Operations Divisions. He joined NBT in 2006 as a Senior Accountant in the Accounting and Finance Division. Prior to joining NBT, O’Hara worked in the healthcare and technology industries.
O’Hara earned his bachelor’s degree in Economics from Ithaca College and his MBA in Finance from SUNY Albany. An active member of the community, he volunteers with the Chenango United Way, Relay for Life of Chenango County and has volunteered with the local soup kitchens.
