Important Service Disruption:
DERUYTER, NY (September 21, 2020) – NBT Bank’s new branch located in the Genevieve D. Staley Civic Center at 735 Utica Street in DeRuyter is now open.
“We have already had a wonderful experience being welcomed into DeRuyter,” said NBT President of Retail Community Banking Joe Stagliano. “NBT Bank was actually founded more than 160 years ago as a community bank just about 30 miles away in Norwich. Today, we have a network of more than 140 locations in diverse regions across seven states, but we remain committed to serving rural communities and are excited to be filling a void in DeRuyter by offering a physical location for banking.”
NBT’s DeRuyter Office is open weekdays from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. The Civic Center is shared with Town of DeRuyter Municipal Offices, Town of DeRuyter Court, DeRuyter Free Library, DeRuyter Community Services and a Madison County Sheriff's field office.
“We have an experienced team staffing our DeRuyter location,” added NBT’s Director of Retail Banking Tom Sutton. “They are ready to provide a diverse range of in-person financial services, including both simple transactions like cashing checks and more complex, solutions-based products, such as home equity lines of credit. In addition, our recent digital banking upgrade offers a seamless experience in between branch visits.”
