SCRANTON, PA. (March 30, 2016) – NBT Bank Regional Commercial Banking Manager Tom Ciak announced the bank’s donation
of $7,000 to support the United Way of Lackawanna and Wayne Counties’ Annual Day of Caring.
Continuing the theme “Live United,” the event fosters the United Way’s core pillars of giving, advocating and volunteering
in the community. Each year area residents participating in the Day of Caring provide much needed in-kind labor to health and human service agencies
throughout the two counties. In this photo, United Way Representative Nikki Keller, United Way Campaign Chair Tom Donahue and NBT Bank’s Tom Ciak display
t-shirts bearing the United Way theme that will be worn by volunteers.
Ciak said, “NBT Bank is proud to renew our sponsorship of the Annual Day of Caring. This event mirrors our own corporate value to support the communities where we live and do business in.
Not only do we provide financial support, but our employees also volunteer their own time assisting the United Way in their efforts to offer valuable services to area residents.”
