SYRACUSE, NY (June 20, 2017) – NBT Bank Regional President Rick Shirtz announced that Commercial Banking Relationship Manager Jonathan Spilka has been promoted to vice president.
In this position, Spilka is responsible for developing and managing business relationships with commercial customers throughout the bank’s Central New York market. He is based at NBT Bank’s Syracuse Financial Center located in the AXA Building at 120 Madison Street in Syracuse.
Spilka has 17 years of banking experience. He joined NBT Bank in 2013 with NBT’s acquisition of Alliance Bank where he was a commercial banking relationship manager. Prior to that, he held roles in the Syracuse area that included positions as commercial relationship manager, commercial credit analyst and branch manager.

A resident of East Syracuse, Spilka earned his bachelor’s degree in business and public management from the SUNY Institute of Technology at Utica/Rome.
