EAST GREENBUSH, NY (April 13, 2017) – NBT Bank Regional President David Krupski is pleased to announce that Wesley Slyke has been hired as assistant vice president and business development officer.
In this position, Slyke is responsible for developing and expanding relationships with small businesses and consumers in Rensselaer County. He is based at NBT’s East Greenbush Office located at 425 Columbia Turnpike in Rensselaer.
“I am pleased to welcome Wesley to our team and wish him much success as he embarks on his new role as business development officer for NBT Bank,” Krupski said. “His banking experience and local knowledge will be an asset to NBT as we strive to enhance our customer relationships and expand our presence in the market.”
Slyke comes to NBT Bank with eight years of banking experience. Most recently, he managed Key Bank’s Wynantskill Office. Previously, he was multi-site branch manager with responsibility for the Wynantskill and Hudson Valley Offices of First Niagara Bank.
A resident of Menands, Slyke earned his Master of Arts from the State University of New York at Albany. He is a graduate of the Rensselaer County Chamber Leadership Program and the Albany-Colonie Leadership Tech Valley Program. He volunteers with the Rensselaer Plateau Alliance and is Cub Master for Rotterdam Pack 10 Scouts.
