MANCHESTER, NH (August 19, 2016) – NBT Bank Regional President Stephen Lubelczyk announced that Albert Romero has been hired as senior vice president and regional commercial banking manager.
In this role, he is responsible for managing the bank’s commercial banking team and regional loan portfolio in New Hampshire. He is based at the bank’s location at 80 Canal Street in Manchester.
“I congratulate Al on his new position with the company,” Lubelczyk said. “His knowledge of the market and experience working with local businesses will be valuable as he leads our team of commercial bankers as we continue providing excellent service to our customers and grow our presence in the region.”
Romero has 27 years of experience in the financial services industry. Prior to joining NBT Bank, he managed a commercial banking team as team leader at Eastern Bank in Bedford. His previous experience includes positions in business and corporate banking at Bank of America, Key Bank, BankBoston and Fleet Bank.
A resident of Bedford, Romero earned a bachelor’s degree from the University of Notre Dame. He is a member of the Court Appointed Special Advocates of New Hampshire Board of Directors, Diocese of Manchester Finance Council and the Greater Manchester Chamber of Commerce.
