NORWICH, NY (August 8, 2016) – NBT Bank President John H. Watt, Jr., announced that John Stafford and Renee Loucks have been promoted to vice president.
Retirement Plan Administrator John Stafford has been with the company since 2007. Stafford is responsible for the design, implementation and administration of retirement plans for local businesses, non-profit organizations and individuals. Before joining NBT Bank’s Wealth Management Division, he was director of human resources and 401(k) administrator for the Blueox Corporation in Oxford. Prior to that, Stafford was a workers' compensation case manager for Wausau Insurance Company in Syracuse. He earned his bachelor’s degree at LeMoyne College and is a Certified Retirement Services Professional (CRSP).
Residential Mortgage Operations Manager Renee Loucks joined the company in 2005. She is responsible for managing the processing, underwriting and closing functions of NBT Bank’s residential mortgage lending division. Loucks also develops and implements policies and procedures to ensure loans in the residential mortgage loan portfolio meet risk, compliance and investor standards. Before joining NBT Bank, she held management positions in the retail banking and mortgage underwriting divisions at Savers Bank in Southbridge, Mass. She attended Cazenovia College.
