UTICA, NY (November 29, 2017) – NBT Bank Regional President John Buffa announced that Karen Brognano has joined NBT as vice president and senior commercial banking relationship manager based at the bank’s Utica Financial Center.
Brognano has over 25 years of experience in banking in the Mohawk Valley, including positions with Savings Bank of Utica and M&T Bank. Prior to joining NBT, she was vice president of Commercial Lending with Key Bank. “We’re pleased to welcome Karen to the NBT Bank team serving the Mohawk Valley,” said Buffa. “Her extensive local experience makes her an excellent addition to our group of customer-focused bankers.”
A graduate of Syracuse University with a B.S. in Business Administration, Brognano is active in the community. She currently serves as second chair and Finance Committee chair for the SUNY POLY Foundation. Previously, she served as a member of the Audit Committee and Young Leader Association for United Way of the Greater Utica Area, a finance committee member for The House of the Good Shepherd, and a board member for the Steven Swans Human Society.
