NBT BANK HIRES HURTA TO OVERSEE SMALL BUSINESS BANKING
NORWICH, N.Y. (JULY 16, 2008) – NBT Bank Corporate Senior Vice President and Retail Lending Division Manager Kurt Edwards recently announced that Amy Hurta has joined the bank as senior vice president and small business banking manager. In this role, she is overseeing the bank’s small business banking efforts in New York State. She is based at the bank’s headquarters in Norwich.Hurta has 13 years of banking experience. Before joining NBT Bank, she was vice president and small business credit officer for TD Commerce Bank in Cherry Hill, N.J., for three years. Her primary responsibilities included coordinating the bank’s small business credit program, which covered much of the East Coast. Prior to this, she worked for ten years at M&T Bank in Buffalo, where she held executive positions in business banking.
Hurta will be taking over for Ronald Parks, who is retiring from NBT Bank after overseeing small business banking for more than eight years.

Hurta has a bachelor’s degree in business management from Cornell University and an MBA in finance from the State University of New York at Buffalo.
