NBT BANK ANNOUNCES ALLIANCE WITH INTUIT’S QUICKEN® AND
QUICKBOOKS® SOFTWARE
NORWICH, N.Y. (JUNE 10, 2008) – NBT Bank has formed an alliance with software maker Intuit to offer Web Connect service. NBT Bank customers can now download their account information into Intuit’s Quicken® 2008 or QuickBooks® 2008 software, eliminating the need to manually enter transaction data. Quicken is geared toward individuals, while QuickBooks targets small businesses.
At NBT Bank’s free Online Banker service (www.nbtbank.com), customers can download their account and transaction information into Quicken or QuickBooks software through Web Connect, an industry-standard interface for exchanging financial data over the Internet. Customers can use the software’s One-Step Update feature, which downloads data in minutes.
