NBT FINANCIAL SERVICES HIRES JABAUT AS FINANCIAL CONSULTANT FOR NORTH COUNTRY


NORWICH, N.Y. (MAY 21, 2008) – Roger Clarkson, senior vice president of NBT Financial Services, recently announced that Jared Jabaut has joined the firm as a financial consultant. In this position, Jabaut is responsible for helping clients in St. Lawrence and Franklin counties with their financial planning and insurance needs. He is based at NBT Bank’s Massena Office at 264 Main Street in Massena.

Jabaut has three years of financial services experience. Before joining NBT Financial Services, he was a financial specialist at Wachovia Bank in Charlotte, N.C., for a year. His duties included providing financial planning, investment assistance and retirement planning to individuals and businesses. Prior to this, he was a senior account executive for Household Financial Corporation in Huntersville, N.C., for two years. In this position, he originated mortgages, automobile loans and unsecured loans.

“Jared’s financial background makes him a great addition to NBT Financial Services,” said Clarkson. “We invite our customers in Canton, Malone, Massena, Norfolk, Ogdensburg and Potsdam to contact him for help with their financial strategies.”

Jabaut has a bachelor’s degree in business management from the State University of New York at Plattsburgh and holds several industry-related securities and insurance licenses (securities licenses are held with LPL Financial). He is a native of Plattsburgh and a resident of Massena.
