NORWICH, N.Y. (MARCH 7, 2011) – NBT Bank Capital Region President Jeff Levy announced that Alfred V. Testa has been hired as vice president and commercial banking relationship manager for the bank’s Capital Region.
In this position, Testa is responsible for developing and managing business relationships with the bank’s commercial customers in Albany, Schenectady and Rensselaer counties. He is based at the bank’s Capital Region Financial Center on Wolf Road.
Prior to joining NBT Bank, Testa was employed by M&T Bank for nine years. Most recently, he served as a vice president and commercial bank manager for M&T Bank in New Hartford, NY. He previously also served the Capital Region as a senior branch manager in Albany, branch manager in Wynantskill and assistant branch manager in Clifton Park for the financial institution.
“Al is an integral addition to our commercial banking team,” Levy said. “His knowledge of the Capital Region and experience working with local businesses in the region will allow us to better serve our commercial customers.”
Testa, an Albany resident, has a bachelor’s degree in marketing and management from Siena College. He holds several licenses including FINRA Series 6 and 63, life, health and accidental insurance. In 2008 and 2009, Testa graduated from the Leadership Tech Valley program and Leadership Mohawk Valley programs respectively.
