NORWICH, N.Y. (August 8, 2011) – NBT Bank Regional President Jeffrey Lake recently announced plans to open a new branch in Binghamton at the corner Broad Avenue and Robinson Street.This new location will be NBT Bank’s ninth office in Broome County. Renovations at the former Partners Trust Bank facility located at 156 Robinson Street will be underway shortly. It is anticipated that the new branch will open in September. Lake said, “Our new Binghamton East Office will provide individuals and businesses in Binghamton with greater access to our unique brand of community banking. The opening of this branch symbolizes our commitment to the city of Binghamton and compliments our network of branches serving the Greater Binghamton area.” NBT Bank provides personal banking, asset management and business services.
