(October 25, 2012) – NBT Bank Capital Region President David Krupski announced that Thomas Rice, vice president and regional commercial real estate manager, has been promoted to senior vice president.Rice, who has over 33 years of banking experience, has been with NBT Bank for more than 10 years and is responsible for developing and managing commercial real estate relationships for the bank’s commercial division. He is based at NBT Bank’s Capital Region Financial Center in Albany. “Tom Rice has contributed tremendously to NBT Bank’s commercial banking success in the Albany area,” Krupski said. “He plays a vital role within NBT Bank’s Capital Region commercial banking team and his continued role and presence here will be important contributors to our future success in this region.” Rice has a bachelor’s degree in business administration from the State University of New York at Plattsburgh. He has also completed advanced commercial lending and credit analysis training through the University at Buffalo’s Bank Management Institute. He is a member of the board for the NYSARC, Inc.
