NBT Bank Promotes Levitt to Commercial Banking Relationship Manager
UTICA, N.Y. (June 17, 2014) – NBT Bank Mohawk Valley Regional President, John Buffa announced that Brett J. Levitt has been promoted to commercial banking relationship manager for the bank in the Mohawk Valley. In this position, Levitt is responsible for developing and managing business relationships with the Bank’s commercial customers throughout the region. He will report to Regional President John Buffa and is based at the bank’s Utica Financial Center located at 270 Genesee Street in downtown Utica. Levitt joined NBT Bank in 2007 as a commercial banking account representative. Prior to that, he was a financial analyst at Cabinet Fabrication Group in Syracuse where he was responsible for reporting and analyzing financial strategies for the company. “I congratulate Brett on his promotion,” Buffa said. “His knowledge of the Mohawk Valley and background in commercial banking will be a strong complement to our growth strategy in the region.” A resident of New Hartford, Levitt earned his Master’s in Business Administration at the Martin J. Whitman School of Management at Syracuse University and his Bachelor’s Degree at Wake Forest University in North Carolina. He is also active in his community, serving on the Development Council of Hospice and Palliative Care, Inc.
