NBT Bank Promotes Hyle
NORWICH, N.Y. (JUNE 22, 2012) – NBT Bank Senior Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer Michael Chewens recently announced that Shaunastar Hyle has been promoted to senior vice president.
Hyle is corporate controller and is responsible for managing the company’s accounting and finance function and ensuring its compliance with corporate policies, accounting and regulatory requirements. She also provides support for strategic planning, corporate governance and merger and acquisition analysis. She is based at the company’s Norwich headquarters.
Hyle, who has been with the company since 2008, started her career at PricewaterhouseCoopers, LLP, where she was a manager, providing audit and attestation services to clients in the firm’s Syracuse and Boston offices. “Shauna Hyle has made a significant contribution to the success of our company through consistently exceptional performance,” Chewens said. “She has emerged as a leader by effectively demonstrating our core values and providing extraordinary service to the company, community, shareholders and business partners. I congratulate her on this promotion and wish her continued success.” A resident of Norwich, Hyle has a bachelor’s degree in accounting from SUNY Geneseo. She is a certified public accountant and is a member of the Commerce Chenango Finance Committee and the Community Enhancement and Redevelopment Group Board.
