NORWICH, N.Y. (August 6, 2014) – NBT Bank Market Manager Daniel Kinney recently announced that NBT Lenox Branch Manager John Bortolotto has been promoted to Assistant Vice President. In his position, Bortolotto has responsibility for branch sales, customer service and operations.Bortolotto joined NBT Bank in 2011 as branch manager of NBT Bank’s Lee Office. When the bank opened an office in Lenox office in 2012, he accepted the position of manager of that office. Previous positions include branch manager for Legacy Banks in Lee. “I congratulate John on this promotion,” Kinney said. “His dedication to NBT Bank and industry experience has contributed greatly to our goal of delivering excellent service and innovative products to our customers in the local community. I wish him continued success in his career.” A resident of Pittsfield, Bortolotto earned his Bachelor’s degree at the University of Massachusetts and his Associate’s degree at Berkshire County Community College. He is 2013 graduate of the Pennsylvania Bankers Association School of Banking, 2012 graduate of the Berkshire Leadership Program, and most recently completed the Commercial Lending School at the Vermont Bankers Association. Bortolotto currently serves on the board of directors of the Lenox Chamber of Commerce, steering committee of the Berkshire Chamber of Commerce Leadership Program and is a business partner for Lenox Public Schools.
