ONEONTA (November 17, 2011) – All NBT Bank Oneonta offices are collecting winter clothing to aid victims of recent flooding.The offices are accepting donations of gently used, clean coats, mittens snow pants and scarves as well as new hats, boots and socks. Items collected will be donated to Delaware Opportunities for distribution to local residents impacted by the recent flooding. Donations can be dropped off at NBT Bank offices located at One Wall Street, 733 State Route 28, 5582 State Route 7 and 107 Oneida Street during normal business hours. Oneonta Area Manager Lyle Smith said, “Many in our community have been impacted by the recent flooding. We are honored to be able to join local relief efforts aiding our friends and neighbors.” NBT Bank provides personal banking, asset management and business services. The independent community bank, based in Norwich, N.Y., has a total of 93 offices in upstate New York, northwestern Vermont and western Massachusetts.
