NORWICH, N.Y. (OCTOBER 18, 2011) – On October 13, NBT Bank held a grand opening celebration at its recently opened Utica Financial Center located at 270 Genesee Street in Utica. The office officially opened on September 26.The grand opening included a ribbon cutting at the new offices followed by a reception at the Stanley Theatre, directly across the street from NBT Bank. Attending both events were NBT Bank executives and employees, bank customers, public officials, business leaders and other guests. “The opening of our Utica Financial Center in the heart of the city allows us to provide the downtown community with direct access to NBT Bank and our services,” said Dennis Surace, regional executive of NBT Bank’s Mohawk Valley Region. “We look forward to deepening our relationship in the local community as we grow our presence in Utica.” NBT Bank’s Utica Financial Center features full branch-banking services, including increased hours, drive-up teller service, 24-hour ATM and night depository. In addition to branch banking, the new offices also provide customers with access to a full team of professionals including NBT Bank’s commercial banking team led by John Buffa, retail banking management under Richard Callahan, and the trust and financial services team led by Rita DeMarko of the NBT Financial Group. Offices of Mang Insurance LLC, a full service insurance agency, are also located in the facility. NBT Bank provides personal banking, asset management and business services.
