ALBANY, N.Y. (October 17, 2013) – NBT Bank North Country/Saratoga Regional President Dan Burke announced that Barbara Derian has been hired as vice president and commercial banking relationship manager.
In this position, Derian is responsible for developing and managing business relationships and providing strategic financial solutions to the bank’s commercial customers in the Capital Region and Saratoga County. She is based at NBT Bank of Saratoga Springs.
Derian has over 25 years of experience in the financial services industry in commercial banking and investment real estate lending. Before joining NBT Bank, she was vice president and senior relationship manager at TD Bank in Latham, managing full service commercial banking relationships. Prior to that, she was Vice President at Key Bank and First American Bank managing commercial clients, also in Albany.

A resident of Ballston Lake, Derian earned her Master’s in Business Administration at the University at Albany and her Bachelor’s Degree at Clark University in Massachusetts.
