ALBANY, N.Y. (March 13, 2014) – NBT Bank President of Commercial Banking Jeffrey Levy announces that Mary C. Bintz has been hired as senior vice president and commercial banking business services manager.In this role, Bintz is responsible for the administration of sales and marketing activities that support the bank’s commercial banking initiatives and is responsible for the bank’s cash management and government banking lines of business. She is based at NBT Bank’s Capital Region Financial Center at 80 Wolf Road in Albany. “We are very excited to have Mary join our team,” Levy said. “Her extensive experience managing and developing creative retail and commercial strategies to drive sales results will be a strong complement to NBT Bank’s growth strategy.” Bintz has 24 years of experience in the financial services industry. Before joining NBT Bank, she was national small business sales executive at Bank of America. Previous positions at Bank of America include roles as business banking market executive for upstate New York, national sales performance executive/global commercial bank and upstate New York business banking market executive. A resident of Delmar, Bintz earned her bachelor’s degree from the State University of New York College at Brockport. She serves on the boards of the Capital District YMCA and the New York Business Development Corporation. Bintz was recognized as a Capital District Business Review 40 under 40 award recipient in 2002.
