NORWICH, N.Y. (May 23, 2011) – NBT Bank Capital Region President Jeff Levy announced that Lauren Barton has been hired as branch manager of the bank’s Duanesburg Office. In this position, Barton has responsibility for the management of all banking activities and business development efforts in the Duanesburg area.
Barton has 30 years of retail banking experience. Before joining NBT Bank, she was a branch manager at Key Bank in Altamont. Prior to this she was assistant branch manager and financial sales associate for Key Bank in Albany. Barton’s banking career also includes customer development positions at First American Bank in Schenectady.

A resident of Delanson, Barton is active in the Duanesburg Business Association.
