(JANUARY 23, 2012) – NBT Bank expanded its footprint and customer base with the successful acquisition and conversion of three former Legacy Banks branches owned by Berkshire Bank in Greene County and customer relationships of one in Schoharie County.At the close of business on Friday, January 20, 2012, NBT Bank acquired the Greene County branches in Greenville, Oak Hill and Windham. Following the acquisition, the branches underwent a systems conversion and opened their doors as offices of NBT Bank on Monday, January 23, 2012.
