Trinkaus has been hired as vice president and assistant controller.In this role, Trinkaus will work closely with the corporate controller to manage the company’s accounting and finance function, assist in meeting corporate goals and achieving adherence to financial, accounting, legal and regulatory policies, guidelines and requirements. Before joining NBT Bancorp, he was employed at KPMG in Syracuse as senior audit associate responsible for working with company clients reviewing compliance to regulatory and industry financial standards.
