Custodial Services

While customers are able to manage their own investment portfolio with an NBT Financial Group Custody Account, we will provide a variety of support services to simplify the task, including:

• Custody and safekeeping of securities
• Purchase, sale, receipt and delivery of securities as directed at favorable brokerage commission rates
• Notification of reorganizations, redemptions, exchanges, rights, stock dividends or other capital changes affecting the account’s securities of which NBT has information, and execution of instructions regarding these transactions
• Collection of proceeds of called or matured bonds or other principal transactions
• Daily sweep of principal and income cash balances to money funds with attractive yields available to institutional investors
• Collection of income and periodic remittances
• Periodic statement of account activity with a list of assets at tax cost and market value
• Annual income tax information summary
