NBT Bank has been advised of a spam email that is circulating heavily nationwide, through e-mail accounts. The e-mail subject line "Your Wire Transfer Canceled" allegedly from the Federal Reserve. The email alerts you that your Wire Transactions have an issue, asking customers to follow a link to correct the issue and view the details.
This e-mail is not from the Federal Reserve. Should you receive this email, please do not click on the link in the e-mail and delete immediately. Below is a sample of what the e-mail states.
