On January 26, 2014, we're upgrading NBT Online Banker for Business to offer you increased convenience and security and provide you with the quality experience you expect from NBT Bank. NBT Online Banker for Business will have a new look and include the enhancements detailed below.

Improved Business Applications

Within the business application module of NBT Online Banker for Business, users can set up recurring ACH transactions and will have access to a dynamic calendar tool to assist them with their business application needs. Easy-to-use navigation tools will provide your business with robust, secure, user-friendly functionality. ACH origination customers utilizing the business features, Payroll, Collection, ACH Payments, and ACH Receipts, can now change their Company Entry Description to better describe the transactions they originate.

Why can’t I see the enhanced features?

Select versions of Internet Explorer 7 and Internet Explorer 10 are unable to support the upgrades recently made to your Online Banker. To take advantage of the recent enhancements to Online Banker, the following browsers and versions are recommended: Mozilla Firefox, Google Chrome, Internet Explorer 9 and Internet Explorer 11.

Why am I being asked a Security Challenge Question to log in to Online Banker?

For security purposes, the first time you log in to Online Banker after this upgrade you will be prompted to answer one of your Security Challenge Questions.

What do I do if I don’t remember the answer to my Security Challenge Question?

If you do not remember the answer to your Security Challenge Question, please contact our Call Center (800.628.2265) for assistance. You will be asked additional questions to verify your identity before new challenge questions can be established to allow you to log in to Online Banker.

Why do my bookmarks no longer work?

The web address (URL) for Online Banker changed as part of the upgrade. You can log in to Online Banker from the NBT Bank home page (www.nbtbank.com) and re-establish your bookmark for future use.

Will my Bill Pay be affected as part of the upgrade?

The Bill Pay feature within Online Banker will not be impacted by the upgrade. After the upgrade, we do encourage you to review your payee information, scheduled payments and other automated features to ensure your settings have not changed.

What new features should I expect with the upgrade?

The upgrade to Online Banker will provide you with new user-friendly features to improve your banking experience. These features include:
