NORWICH, N.Y. (AUGUST 27, 2010) – NBT Bank Capital Region President Jeff Levy announced that the bank opened its Schenectady Office on August 26 in Center City Plaza in downtown Schenectady. This full-service office is located in Suite 130 at 433 State Street.
"We are excited to be part of downtown Schenectady's renaissance by offering our highly personalized brand of banking to individuals, businesses and not-for-profit organizations," Levy said. "The Schenectady Office is an important component of our growth strategy in the Capital Region."
The Schenectady Office has four teller windows, a customer service area, a coin-counting machine and an outside walk-up 24-hour ATM. The office will also provide a complete line of financial products and services.
Bonnie Keller, longtime manager of the bank's Duanesburg Office, is interim branch manager of the Schenectady Office. Nancy Becker is assistant branch manager. Bill Faubion, senior commercial banking relationship manager, is providing commercial banking services from the new office.
NBT Bank provides personal banking, asset management and business services. The independent community bank, based in Norwich, N.Y., has 30 offices in the Capital Region and a total of 86 offices in upstate New York and northwestern Vermont.
